2022 NFL Quarterback Tiers

Josh Allen leads the way in our 2022 NFL Quarterback Tiers
What are tiers lists in fantasy football?
The term ‘tiers’ refers to a fantasy football draft strategy in which managers group players together based on expected performance rather than focus on individual players. Managers tend to assign equal value to players in the same tier, as opposed to targeting one particular player as a big-time performer. These tier lists can be used in season-long leagues more than in Daily Fantasy Sports on sites like Fanduel, DraftKings, Yahoo, or even Drafters.
Haven’t heard of Drafters before? They are the ORIGINAL DFS Snake Draft site. Before DK and FD, Drafters had snake drafts that you would get paid out daily and not season-long. If you sign up using the link provided you will get FREE money after you deposit as little as $10.

QB | RB | WR | TE
I don’t really think this list will be controversial here. These are players that are a lock almost every single week no matter who the opponents are.
QB Top Tier
1 | Josh Allen | BUF |
2 | Kyler Murray | ARI |
3 | Lamar Jackson | BAL |
4 | Patrick Mahomes | KC |
5 | Justin Herbert | LAC |
6 | Jalen Hurts | PHI |

These are the players that can have MASSIVE weeks but could also have down weeks as well. Some are dependent on the talent level at WR around them but by no means should these be slept on.

20 Things To Know Before Your Fantasy Football Draft

20 Things To Know Before Your Fantasy Football Draft
Fantasy Football Draft Strategy Advice, Tips
Start with a five-round plan of attack
The one thing you do know going into a 12-team fantasy football draft is that you will end up with five of the top-60 picks. Once you draw a selection between No. 1 (Jonathan Taylor) and No. 12, it’s easy to think too much about that first pick and not about the other core-four picks that follow. In most leagues, these are the players who should consistently make up at least half of your weekly starters.
A no-brainer first-round pick of an RB1 or WR1 means little if you don’t back him up with a bevy of support. Participate in mock drafts with your pick and league specifics to know what combinations of talent you can get so when you’re on the clock for real, you know your best options and how you can audible if a pick doesn’t fall as you expected.
This is the fantasy football version of your opening drive, and whoever scripts their first series the best usually ends up having the most success all season long.
These tier lists can be used in season-long leagues more than in Daily Fantasy Sports on sites like Fanduel, DraftKings, Yahoo, or even Drafters.

With Preseason underway, there are MULTIPLE players who are either on the bubble, possibly injured, or could make or break your draft. Here are 20 facts you should know before you draft another money team this year.
1. The Steelers want to reduce Najee Harris snaps by 10-15% this season.
2. Ronald Jones is a cut candidate heading into the final 2 weeks of camp.
3. Kareem Hunt returns to Browns’ camp after a brief holdout. There’s no way he gets traded, especially with the QB situation this year.
4. AJ Dillon has seen ‘major’ passing game work in Packers camp. You can feel confident with Dillon if you miss out on Jones early.
5. Mike Evans suffered a ‘minor’ hamstring injury in camp. He usually does this every year and will be fine.
6. Rookie Isiah Pacheco has a real shot at the RB2 role in Kansas City. We know the RB situations in KC aren’t conducive to RB success generally, but with Hill leaving, could open up some more fantasy points here.
7. A 3-headed backfield is forming in Buffalo as Zack Moss runs with the 1st team offense often in camp. The backfield has always been a mess there and really only good for DFS.
8. Other ‘minor’ injuries to look out for as of now: Kadarius Toney (knee), Melvin Gordon (foot), Russell Gage (leg)
9. JK Dobbins is on track to return Week 1. He’s the clear #1 back here but this still could easily be turned into a RBBC.
10. Rookie Tyler Allgeier has been the most consistent runner in Falcons camp. Something to monitor the next couple of weeks.
11. Eno Benjamin is winning the RB2 job over Darrel Williams in Cardinals camp. If you’re looking for a late-round flyer at RB.
12. Baker Mayfield has established himself as the ‘clear QB1’ in Carolina. Draft with confidence here.
13. Matthew Stafford is managing an arm issue. One side says it’s fine, one side said it’s a significant injury. Draft with caution.
14. Elijah Mitchell is the ‘clear-cut No.1 RB’ in 49ers camp. Would 100% handcuff him with Sermon to be safe.
15. Brandon Aiyuk has been the best player in 49ers camp. Draft with confidence here.
16. Mitch Trubisky has been the best QB option during training camp for the Steelers and is expected to be QB 1, but the leash isn’t that long and could be starting for a short time.
17. Rondale Moore will have a LARGE role in 2022 per Kingsbury. At least til Nuk is back.
18. Rookie TE Daniel Bellinger is the clear favorite TE1 so far in Giants camp. Late round flyer if you miss out on the big TE guns.
19. KJ Hamler is on track to play in week 1. Could quickly become Russell Wilson’s favorite target this year.
20. Jahan Dotson has been the best player so far for the Commanders during training camp. Could have a big year if all the attention goes to McLaurin.

2022 NFL TE Best Ball Rankings

Travis Kelce leads the way in FTA Sports’ 2022
NFL TE Best Ball Rankings. He should see a bump
in production with the departure of Hill. He looks
to build off his 9 touchdowns on 92 receptions
and 1,125 yards last year.
What are Best-Ball Draft-Only Leagues?
Best ball is a fantasy football format where league managers draft their team but there is no in-season management—no waiver wire, no trades, no setting lineups. Instead, your highest-scoring players are optimized to form your starting lineup. Leagues are decided by cumulative season points rather than head-to-head matchups. Roster size and payout structures vary by platform and while there are traditional live drafts available, slow drafts (1- 2- 4- 6- and 8-hour timers) are also popular for best-ball leagues.
General Strategy to Get Started
A specific strategy for each site varies but, in general, you should go into a draft with the aim to draft the following number of players at each position in hopes of maintaining enough active players through all 17 weeks:
- 2–3 QB
- 4–6 RB
- 6–9 WR
- 2–3 TE
- 2–3 Defenses
- 2–3 Kickers

2022 NFL WR Best Ball Rankings

After another Fantastic year in 2021. Cooper
Kupp leads our 2022 NFL WR Best Ball Rankings
for the upcoming season. He’s looking to build
on his 2021 campaign which saw him play 17
games, 145 receptions, 1,947 yards and 16 TDs.
He is also coming off a 3rd place finish in the
MVP voting.

***Wide receiver drafting strategy in best ball fantasy leagues
Wide Receiver is the one position I believe you can wait on drafting as there are so many great options and injuries will open up the depth charts even more. There are so many high-caliber Wideouts in the league this year it’s crazy. NFL teams usually have one RB that is expected to put up relevant fantasy numbers in any given week. While, almost any team in the NFL could have three wideouts that might go off. Take Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati, for example. Each of those teams has three receivers with weekly top-36 upside.
When it comes to receivers in best ball, more is better. I try to walk away with seven to nine receivers on my roster in most drafts.
I absolutely LOVE to draft WR-heavy in the first couple of rounds. I go for the Big Names like if I can get Cooper Kupp this year, you bet I will. Then, I will look for those high upside players in the middle rounds. You can find those guys and all of their stats in our Weekly Matchup Tool.
We will be posting for week 1 in the coming weeks and will have all relevant stats from the previous season. Guys that I like so far this year, even before training camps open fully are as follows. Michael Pittman Jr., Darnell Mooney, Allen Robinson Courtland Sutton, and Christian Kirk all look to make impacts this year again and you might get them later on with our 2022 NFL WR Best Ball Rankings
