PGA DFS Chalk & Ownership Projections (DraftKings & FanDuel)

PGA DFS Chalk & Ownership Projections

Ownership is the hidden variable in golf DFS. With only six roster spots and a full field of golfers, the crowd piles onto the same handful of names every week — and knowing which golfers are chalk (heavily rostered) versus which are quietly overlooked is how you separate your lineups from the field. This page projects field ownership for the current PGA event on both DraftKings and FanDuel, updated as tee times and news firm up through the week.

Use it two ways. In cash games, lean into chalk when a golfer is popular because he’s genuinely the best play — you only need to beat half the field, so the safe, obvious plays are your friends. In tournaments (GPPs), ownership becomes leverage: a low-owned golfer with a real top-10 path is worth more than the same points from a 35%-owned favorite, because when he hits, far fewer lineups share him. Fade one or two of the most obvious chalk anchors, replace them with comparable projections at half the ownership, and you’ve built something the field doesn’t have.
