These can be players who are in favorable matchups, hitting higher in the batting order, or experiencing recent success. Pitchers:

Tyler Glasnow (DK: $11,000, FD: $ vs Detroit Tigers

Absolutely love this match-up. He’s the most expensive pitcher on the slate but he has the best overall match-up against a Tigers’ team that has the 2nd lowest ISO rate (.128) against righties at home. They have been a lower-tiered offense all season and wouldn’t be surprised to see Glasnow get 10+ Ks in this game. On top of that, Glasnow is better on the road with a 2.76 EAR and averaging 22.5 DK FPPG.

Brayan Bello (DK: $8,900, FD: $) vs Toronto Blue Jays

I think this will be a little under-the-radar pick against a Blue Jays team that is coming off a win in Fenway on Saturday. Bello is a tremendous GPP/Tournament option, but wouldn’t trust him in cash, not with this ballpark. Bello has faced the Blue Jays once this year where he pitched 5 innings, allowing 4 runs with 2 of them earned, and 5 Ks. He has a better ERA (3.29) at home and a 4.37 ERA on the road. He is strictly a tournament option for me today.

Kyle Bradish (DK: $8,500, FD: $ ) vs New York Mets

Bradish comes into this match-up with a 7-6 record, 3.32 ERA, and 102 Ks in 20 starts. He gets a juicy match-up against a Mets’ team that is currently rocking a .167 ISO (14th ranked) against righties on the road. The current Mets’ roster has only 2 PA against Bradish so they don’t really have a feel for the game, and they are not playing good offensive baseball right now so we need to take advantage of that on a slate that doesn’t have a TON of fantastic pitching options.

Stacking in MLB DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) refers to selecting multiple players from the same team in your lineup.

Conversely, if a game is played in a pitcher-friendly park or has unfavorable weather, stacking opposing pitchers may be beneficial.
4. Cost Efficiency: Stacking allows you to focus your budget on a specific team’s offense rather than spreading it across multiple teams. By concentrating your resources, you can roster more impactful players and potentially access top-tier hitters who may be expensive individually.
